Scholarships and Bursaries

Cambrian College gives out over 400 awards each year to deserving Cambrian College students through the Cambrian Foundation Awards Program. Over $375,000 will be distributed in scholarships, bursaries and awards annually.

Application Process

All information regarding the eligibility, criteria, documentation required, and application deadline for each scholarship, bursary, or award is available through the Awards Listing.

Students are recognized for academic achievement, community involvement, contribution to the quality of college life, and professional potential. There is at least one program-specific award available to students in every full-time postsecondary program at the Barrydowne campus of Cambrian College.

Whether you have just graduated from secondary school, are continuing your education from another college or university, or are returning to college after working or raising a family, we can help you finance your education and make it more affordable.

The Cambrian College Awards program is divided into three distinct categories: Entrance Awards, In-Course Awards and External Awards.

Entrance Awards

Entrance Awards are available to students who are beginning their first Cambrian College certificate or diploma program. Students would typically apply for Entrance Awards prior to beginning his/her first semester of study at Cambrian College. Application deadlines vary depending on the individual awards. In-Course Awards

In-Course Awards are available to all students who are registered and attending a Cambrian College certificate or diploma program. Students apply for In-Course Awards during the fall semester of each academic year. The application deadline is the final Friday in November. Browse the listing of In-Course Awards.
