By Car:
Coming from the South (Toronto, Barrie...)
- Head North on Hwy. 69 towards Sudbury
- Turn right onto Paris Street
- Continue on Paris Street to the lights at Brady Street
- Turn right onto Brady Street (which turns into the Kingsway)
- Turn left at the lights onto Barrydowne Road (you'll see Chapters and Costco on your right)
- Turn right at Curlook Drive (next set of lights past Lasalle Boulevard)
Coming from the North (Kapuskasing, Timmins...)
- Follow Hwy. 144 past Chelmsford and Azilda towards Sudbury
- Take the Lasalle Blvd. exit off of Hwy. 144
- Stay on Lasalle Blvd. until you reach the lights at Barrydowne Road (you'll see the New Sudbury Shopping Centre on your right)
- Turn left onto Barrydowne Road
- Turn right onto Curlook Drive (next set of lights once you've turned onto Barrydowne Road)
Coming from the East (Ottawa, Pembroke, North Bay...)
- Head West on Hwy. 17 towards Sudbury
- Turn right onto Barrydowne Road (next set of lights past the intersection of Falconbridge Hwy. and Second Avenue)
- Turn right at Curlook Drive (next set of lights past Lasalle Boulevard)
Coming from the West (Thunder Bay, Sault Ste-Marie, Blind River...)
- Follow Hwy. 17 to the lights at the intersection of Long Lake Road
- Turn left onto Long Lake Road (which turns into Paris Street)
- Continue on Paris Street to the lights at Brady Street
- Turn right onto Brady Street (which turns into the Kingsway)
- Turn left at the lights onto Barrydowne Road (you'll see Chapters and Costco on your right)
- Turn right at Curlook Drive (next set of lights past Lasalle Boulevard)
By Bus:
Greyhound:
The Sudbury Greyhound bus terminal is located at 854 Notre Dame Avenue. Passengers will have access to the city transit bus, once at the Transit Centre, and at the Greyhound terminal upon arrival. Greyhound offers student discounts and companion fares when travelling with a friend.
City Transit:
The city transit station is located downtown at 9 Elm Street. Specific bus schedules can be found at www.greatersudbury.ca. There are two buses that depart from the downtown bus depot to Cambrian College (401 Barrydowne Cambrian / 302 Lasalle Cambrian). If you have any questions regarding the Sudbury bus system, contact the Greater Sudbury Transit information service at 675-3333.
By Train:
The Lake Superior train makes two stops in Sudbury, one at the Via Rail Sudbury Junction and the other at the Via Rail station downtown. For maps, weather conditions, train schedules, and more, visit www.viarail.ca.
By Air:
The Sudbury Airport is located past the town of Garson, near Skead Township, at 2621 Skead Road. Our local airport is served by two airlines: Air Canada Jazz (1-800-247-2262) and Bearskin Airlines (1-800-465-2327). Flights are connected to Canadian and worldwide destinations.
Driving to Cambrian from the Sudbury Airport
- Turn right out of airport parking lot onto Skead Road
- Turn left at stop sign onto Hwy. 545 (Radar Road)
- Continue on Hwy. 545 until road ends and turn right onto Falconbridge Hwy.
- Stay on Falconbridge Hwy. (through Garson) and turn right at Maley Drive (4th set of lights)
- Follow Maley Drive to the end and turn left onto Barrydowne Road
- Turn left at the first set of lights onto Curlook Drive
