The Glenn Crombie Centre is a multi-service complex that promotes accessibility and success for students with disabilities within the Cambrian community. This state-of-the-art facility is entirely accessible including phones (TTY), personal care rooms, computer lab, testing rooms, and washrooms.

Making the transition to college can be a very stressful time for any student. Take charge of your learning by ensuring a successful start with one of our Orientation options. For more information about disability services at Cambrian, download the brochure. The following supports and services are presently available:

  • Orientation Programs.
  • Academic advising and accommodations for full-time and part-time students with disabilities.
  • Specialized programs for students with developmental, learning, and physical disabilities.
  • Training and access to a wide variety of assistive technologies (i.e. text-to-voice and voice-to-text software, tape recorders, technical aids, voice recognition computers, FM systems).
  • Learning Skills Advisors for assistance with learning strategies.
  • Personal Care Rooms.
  • Alternative print material and access to note taking and interpreter services.
  • Psycho-educational assessments as required provided by the Northern Ontario Assessment and Resource Centre.
