In the Cambrian College Student Rights and Responsibilities documents, plagiarism is defined as “…representing the work of others as one’s own.” Plagiarism includes word-for-word borrowing of material from another source without giving credit, the use of facts or ideas from another source reworded to give the impression they are one’s own, or the use of another student’s work as if it were one’s own.
To avoid plagiarism, the body of your paper should include proper citation of your sources and an appendix at the end of the paper should include a list of references that you have quoted, paraphrased, and/or used as source material.
