Campus Tours

Campus tours are the best way to experience what Cambrian College is all about. Bring your family and friends for a 45-minute tour and find out about our programs, our facilities, and the services we offer. You’ll get a glimpse of college life, a sense of what we’re all about and most importantly, answers to all of your questions.

You are welcome to tour the campus on weekdays at 10:30 a.m. or at 2:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 12 noon. Please Note: Although the College offers tours on Saturdays, most service areas and facilities are only open Monday to Friday. Tours are not available on statutory holiday weekends or during the week between Christmas and New Year's.

What does your on-campus tour include?

The 45-minute tour starts off at the InfoCentre (located in the main lobby at the Barrydowne campus) and will be led by one of our Student Ambassadors.

The tour will introduce you to:

Classrooms and labs that you may be using while you attend Cambrian College.
Student services you’ll have access to, including the health and wellness centre, travel lab, athletics centre, and the campus pub to name a few.

Depending on the time of year, tours of our student residences are also available.

Visiting Tips

Before the tour

In order to get the most out of your campus tour, you may want to…

Make sure your tour has been confirmed with one of our Student Ambassadors.
Check the weather before arriving; you may need to bring an umbrella or a warm jacket, as we will be outside for part of the tour. (check weather)
Wear comfortable footwear since we will be doing a lot of walking during the tour.
Take a look at our Campus maps to familiarize yourself with the campus.
Prepare a list of questions to ask your tour guide (see below).
If you park in lot 15 or lots 5, 4, 3, 2 or 1, let us know and we’ll provide you with tokens. Parking is free on weekends. (view parking map)
Arrive 10 minutes early.
Consider staying overnight and visiting Sudbury’s attractions.
