Working on Campus 

To assist you meet your educational costs, the province, through the Ontario Work Study Program (OWSP) and the Tuition Fee Set-aside Program (TFEE), provides colleges and universities with financial assistance in supporting on-campus work.

If you have exhausted your own financial resources, you are encouraged to apply for on-campus part-time work opportunities.

You can qualify if you are:
  • A Canadian citizen or permanent resident or a Protected Person;
  • An Ontario resident.
  • A full-time student in good academic standing and in financial need.

The maximum that you can earn under the OWSP program is $1,000 per semester. TFEE students earn $10.25/hour for up to 15 hours of work per week during the study period and 35 hours per week during the study breaks.

Steps to take to work on-campus:

  1. Visit the job bulletin board located outside the Financial Aid office at Cambrian College.
  2. Fill out an application form available from the Student Employment Services office.
  3. Submit your completed application form to the Student Employment Services office.
