To assist you meet your educational costs, the province, through the Ontario Work Study Program (OWSP) and the Tuition Fee Set-aside Program (TFEE), provides colleges and universities with financial assistance in supporting on-campus work.
If you have exhausted your own financial resources, you are encouraged to apply for on-campus part-time work opportunities.
You can qualify if you are:
- A Canadian citizen or permanent resident or a Protected Person;
- An Ontario resident.
- A full-time student in good academic standing and in financial need.
The maximum that you can earn under the OWSP program is $1,000 per semester. TFEE students earn $10.25/hour for up to 15 hours of work per week during the study period and 35 hours per week during the study breaks.
Steps to take to work on-campus:
- Visit the job bulletin board located outside the Financial Aid office at Cambrian College.
- Fill out an application form available from the Student Employment Services office.
- Submit your completed application form to the Student Employment Services office.
