2006 United Way Campaign

Feature
December 2006

Cambrian College's 2006 United Way campaign wrapped up in December and thanks to the generosity of the Cambrian community, the College not only reached its goal of $20,000 but surpassed it by over $5,000. At a ceremony to mark the end of the 2006 campaign, Christine Greffe, Cambrian's United Way Internal Coordinator, thanked the many dedicated volunteers and donors from within the Cambrian College family that helped to "build a better community" for all citizens of Sudbury.

"When you consider just how many people benefit from our donations, it is well worth the effort to support such a powerful and far-reaching community fundraiser," said Christine.

Cambrian College's 2006 contributions will be used to fund 42 local programs and a number of other Canadian charities supported by the United Way/Centraide Sudbury and/et District.
