Bermudian Students to Study Power Engineering at Cambrian

Six Bermudian students will study in Cambrian College's Power Engineering Techniques program, beginning July 3, 2007, through a partnership with the College and the National Training Board, Government of Bermuda.

Prior to the students' arrival, Allan Hunt, Consultant for the Ministry of Works and Engineering with the Government of Bermuda; Kirk Outerbridge, Plant Manager for Tynes Bay Waste Treatment Facility, Ministry of Works and Engineering with the Government of Bermuda; and John Coulter, Chief Officer of Operating Engineers, Technical Standards and Safety Authority for Ontario, will visit Cambrian on June 11, 2007, to get a first-hand look at the College's Power Engineering programs and facilities. The visitors will also take part in discussions aimed at exploring how the College can provide training and build the technical capacity of Bermuda.
