At the 2006 Trillium Awards, Cambrian College received an Honourable Mention in the Electronic Newsletter category. The Award was presented during the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology's annual College Committee on Advancement Conference held in Sudbury on February 21.

Designed to ensure that secondary school guidance counsellors and their students have access to the most up-to-date information about the College, Cambrian’s electronic newsletter is sent to the more than 800 high schools across the province and each issue is posted on the “Information for Guidance Counsellors” section of the College’s Web site.
