Cambrian College's Baking and Pastry Arts students were awarded the Outstanding Table Display Award at the fourth annual "More than just desserts" event in support of the Arthritis Society. The event, which was held at the Caruso Club on March 28, 2008, attracted over 300 people who experienced an evening of dessert tasting and judging, live entertainment, and live and silent auctions. The entire Baking and Pastry Arts class was involved in the preparation for the event, while four students represented the class that evening. This was the third year that Cambrian's Baking and Pastry Arts students competed in the event.
