Cambrian's Convocation Ceremonies

Cambrian's 39th annual Convocation ceremonies were held on Thursday, May 24 and Friday, May 25. More than 2,100 Cambrian students graduated during this year's four Convocation ceremonies.

Awards and Medals

Cambrian's Convocation ceremonies featured the presentation of the following awards and medals:

On Thursday, May 24, Michael Atkins, founder and president of Laurentian Media Group, received the Dr. Fred Sheridan Award; Laura Fowler, a Police Foundations graduate, was presented with the President's Gold Medal; and Cheri Corbiere, President of the Cambrian Native Students' Association and Curtis Bell, President of the Cambrian Athletics Association received Certificates of Recognition.

On Friday, May 25, Dan Xilon, a graduate of the Business Administration program, received the Cambrian College Alumni Award; Perry Richard Cann, a graduate of the Civil Engineering Technology program, was awarded the President's Silver Medal; Kimberly Donaldson, a Professor in the School of Business, Media and Creative Arts, was presented with the President's Award for Excellence - Faculty Award; and Terence Ryan Fera, a Computer Systems Technology graduate, received the Governor General's Academic Medal;
