Thursday, April 17, 2008 - Cambrian College’s third-year Graphic Design students are hosting Sweet, an exhibition of graphic design created by the 2008 graduating class, which runs from Thursday, April 24 to Friday, May 16.
Sweet can be viewed in the Visual Arts Studio, room 3190, at the College’s Barrydowne campus. In addition to showcasing student works, Sweet will include the release of a commemorative CD package, the launch of the online best-in-show exhibit, and the sale of a limited edition silk screened event poster.
“We’re really excited about this, our 5th annual graduate show,” said Ron Beltrame, Graphic Design Program Coordinator. “The quality of the work just keeps getting better every year and is a real testament to the flourishing design sector in Northern Ontario, as well as to the highly creative students who are choosing to study at Cambrian.”
Schools and other groups who would like to book a private or guided viewing of the exhibition can contact Ron Beltrame at 566-8101, extension 7598, or at
