Representatives from Sudbury-based BESTECH were at Cambrian on Monday, February 4, 2008, to donate a software program to the College. The program, called NRG-1, is a web-based control system that is currently used by the mining industry for underground mine ventilation control. Availability of this software will enhance training opportunities for Cambrian students in the Mining, Geology and Automation Engineering programs.
