Cambrian College Staff Shine at International Singing Competition

Nickel City Sound, Sudbury's women's barbershop chorus, brought home eighth place honours at the Harmony Incorporated International Competition in Appleton, Wisconsin on November 15, 2008. Among the thirty-six sequin-clad singers representing Sudbury were Cambrian College employees Ann Frampton (Community Outreach and Employment Support, Wabnode Institute), Marilyn Guindon (Secretary, Schools of Business, Computer Studies and Engineering Technology), Penny Earley (Professor, Social Service Worker program) and Marcia Ranger (Professor, Electrical Engineering programs). Nickel City Sound performs regularly in the Sudbury area.
