Cambrian College was the venue for a funding announcement by Northern Development and Mines Minister Rick Bartolucci that will assist Northern Ontario youth to upgrade their skills, become apprentices, and find jobs.

Cambrian College will receive more than $1 million from the provincial government to deliver workshops and provide one-on-one employment services to area youth through its Job Connect program. It will also receive over $460,000 towards creating apprenticeship spots at the College.
