Cambrian College will be hosting an open house on Saturday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the College’s Barrydowne campus.
Cambrian’s Spring Open House is an annual event, which offers the general public, along with potential students and their families, the opportunity to find out more about the College and to get a glimpse of what life at Cambrian is like. The event features campus and residence tours and a number of activities taking place throughout the campus, including live entertainment, a firefighter fitness challenge, and a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship.
“The Open House is a great opportunity to explore Cambrian's program offerings and to visit the College's labs and shops,” said Brenda Bouchard, Manager of Liaison. “Visitors will also be able to watch Cambrian students in action. Program demonstrations include a mock accident scenario with the Paramedic students and pole top rescue demonstrations with the Powerline Technician students.”
Admission to the Spring Open House is free. For more information, visit Cambrian’s website at
