Approximately 1,100 students from high schools and adult education centres in the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin were at the College's Barrydowne campus on Friday, October 13 for Cambrian Day and the College Information Program. Students from Cambrian College’s Access program and international students from Cambrian’s Hanson campus in Toronto also participated in the event.
As part of Cambrian Day, visiting students had the opportunity to attend a program-specific information session to find out more about the full-time programs Cambrian offers. Hands-on demonstrations were featured.
The College Information Program (C.I.P.), held in the gymnasium, was an opportunity for the students, as well as parents, counsellors, and members of the general public, to visit the various college display booths and to ask representatives from Ontario’s 23 colleges questions about their respective colleges.
