The first-year Motive Power Technician (Automotive) students, supported by PartSource, a local automotive parts specialty store, held their first charity oil change event at Cambrian College on Saturday, November 22, 2008. The event was incredibly successful, with students and staff lining up to take advantage of the opportunity to give students practical, hands-on experience.

All of the proceeds are being donated to the Lions Club Children's Christmas Telethon, on behalf of Cambrian's Automotive program and PartSource, and through the generosity of Cambrian College staff and students. Over $1,000 was raised from both oil changes and donations.
