Jeff Walker, a Civil Engineering professor at Cambrian College, is the coach and a member of Team Chiropractic, which captured the national dragon boat championship in the mixed division in both the 200- and 500-metre distances. The win in Calgary on  August 25 and 26 qualifies the team to compete in the 2008 World Club Crew in Malaysia.

The club team trains nearly every day, either on land or on the water. In winter, they train at a pool in a specially-designed trainer that simulates an actual dragon boat.
