Steve Daniel, a third-year student in Cambrian College's Business Administration program and a paralympian, has been selected to compete in the arms-only single scull event in the Beijing Paralympic games in September. Daniel trains four to six days a week conditioning his powerful upper body for the games.
"I was very excited to be named to the Canadian Paralympic Team. I know that the next few months will be an awesome experience, and I look forward to enjoying my journey towards the Paralympics and beyond," said Steve Daniel.
This fall, Daniel will be entering his fifth semester in Cambrian's Business Administration program.
"I chose Cambrian because I was impressed with the design of its Business Administration program. I felt it would give me the skills I needed to get back into the workforce," said Daniel.
"I also like the way the Glenn Crombie Centre for disabilities caters to individuals with special needs. It has helped me significantly with my transition to College."
