Chris MacDonell, a third-year student in Cambrian College’s Computer Systems Technology program, is the winner of the gold medal at the Skills Canada - Ontario technological skills competition, which was held at RIM Park in Waterloo on May 2, 2006. MacDonell, along with second-year student Terry Fera, competed in the IT/PC Network Support portion of the event.

“I am very proud of Chris and Terry,” said Bob Vachon, coordinator, Computer Systems Technology program. “Their performance in the competition speaks to the quality of Cambrian’s students and to the ability of the College’s Computer Systems Technology program to provide students with a relevant and practical education.”

MacDonell and Fera competed against second-and third-year students from postsecondary institutions across Ontario.
