Cambrian Technology Student Wins Bronze at Canadian Skills Competition

Chris MacDonell, a graduate from Cambrian College’s three-year Computer Systems Technology program, is the winner of the bronze medal at the 12th annual Canadian Skills Competition (CSC), which was held at the Halifax Metro and the World Trade Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from May 23 to 26, 2006.

“Chris is an exceptional student and I am proud that his abilities have earned him a bronze medal at this national competition,” said Bob Vachon, coordinator, Computer Systems Technology program. “He is a testament to the quality of Cambrian’s students and to the ability of the College’s Computer Systems Technology program to provide students with a relevant and practical education.”

Chris is employed with Inco Limited in Sudbury as a Network Specialist.
