On February 25, 2008, Cambrian College President Sylvia Barnard and Deputy Police Chief Frank Elsner announced the details of a partnership that will establish a Greater Sudbury Police Service satellite office at Cambrian's Barrydowne campus. This office will serve the needs of the College and New Sudbury while promoting a safe learning and work environment, a safe neighbourhood, and a safe community.
