Cambrian professor- recipient of Glenn Crombie Memorial Award

Jennifer Cawley-Caruso, a professor in the Child and Youth Worker program at Cambrian College, is the 2006 recipient of the Glenn Crombie Memorial Award. The Award is given out annually by the provincial College Committee on Disability Issues to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to students with disabilities and/or to the field of disability services in the Ontario Community College system.

Cawley-Caruso was presented with the award during the annual general meeting of the College Committee on Disability Issues, which was held at Humber College, May 16 - 18, 2006. “Jennifer provides outstanding support to all students, particularly those with disabilities,” said Susan Alcorn MacKay, Director, Disability Services, Cambrian College. “She is a dedicated faculty member who continually seeks to improve the educational experience for her students. She is known for her ability to foster student success and for ensuring that their College experience is relevant and rewarding.”
