A single parent, Kayla manages her school, volunteer, and parental responsibilities in admirable fashion.

Erin is also an exemplary student who has a 4.0 GPA and who earned the 2006 CGA Award of Excellence. She juggles the responsibilities of being a single parent, maintaining her perfect GPA, and her volunteer work at the Cambrian Women’s Centre, the peer tutoring centre, and at the annual United Way tax clinic.

Mike is a 1998 graduate of the Theatre Arts - Technical Production program and a Music Industry Arts/Recording Engineering graduate from Fanshaw College. A sales leader for Computrek, Mike also spends countless hours providing local stage and musical productions with music and sound engineering expertise.

Cambrian College, Laurentian University, and Collège Boréal are sponsors of the secondary school category of the Awards. Cambrian’s Theatre Arts - Technical Production students Christina McHenry and Gillian Fraser, as well as Nadine Gravel, a graduate of the program, provided design, staging, multi-media, and lighting support for the Awards ceremony, which was held April 20 at the Radisson Hotel in Sudbury.
