Cambrian's Journalism program, in collaboration with the Students' Administrative Council, hosted a federal candidates' (Sudbury riding) debate at Cambrian College on October 6, 2008. The two-hour debate was an opportunity for College staff and students to hear from the candidates and to ask questions on a variety of election issues. The debate also enabled the students to hone their journalistic skills by covering a typical election event.
