On November 26, Cambrian College President Sylvia Barnard signed a memorandum of understanding with Brazil's National Industrial Training Service - Minas Gerais Chapter (SENAI DR MG). The memorandum is aimed at fostering collaboration between the two organizations through the development of technical courses and programs in mining at SENAI DR MG Mining School in Nova Lima, Brazil; the delivery of capacity training for SENAI DR MG instructors; and the development of distance learning curriculum related to mining. The memorandum will also allow for an exchange of staff and students for research and study in the mining sector.
