Dr. Philip Steenkamp, the recently-appointed Deputy Minister of Training Colleges and Universities, visited Cambrian College on June 14 and met a cross-section of the Cambrian community, including representatives from the student councils, faculty, support staff and administration. As well, the Minister toured the College’s Student Centre, The Glenn Crombie Centre, Wabnode, eDome and several of the shops in the Trades area. The purpose of the visit was to become familiar with Cambrian College and some of the issues facing Cambrian and other colleges in the province.
