Feature
April 2006

The first group of fourteen Cambrian College students to complete the Maintenance Management Professional program through The Enterprise Centre were recognized at a special event that was held at the College on April 26, 2006. The MMP certificate program, which is developed and authorized by the Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC), consists of eight modules that take a total of 240 hours to complete. The program is designed to provide the skills and training for those who are in management positions or those who aspire to become managers in the maintenance field.

Cambrian College is one of 14 community colleges in Ontario to provide the MMP program to their respective communities. Norm Clegg, Executive Director of PEMAC, and Colin Carrington, MMP Registrar, were in attendance at the event.
