The registrar from the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario was at Cambrian College's eDome on Monday, October 22 to discuss the impact of a recent amendment to the Dental Hygiene Act that allows dental hygienists to self-initiate selected services for patients.

Fran Richardson spoke to dental hygiene students from both Cambrian College and College Boréal, and local dental hygienists. Hygienists in Haileybury, Kapuskasing, South Porcupine, and Kirkland Lake participated in the event through videoconference.
