Job Opportunities Plentiful for Cambrian Students

Feature
December 2007

Cambrian College's 2007 United Way campaign wrapped up on November 29, with the generosity of the Cambrian community helping the College to not only reach its goal of $20,000, but to surpass it by over $6,000. Before unveiling the campaign's total, Tony Skopyk, Cambrian's United Way Internal Coordinator thanked the College's many volunteers, canvassers, and donors for making this year's campaign such a success.

"The number of employers coming on campus is an excellent indication of the caliber of Cambrian students, faculty, and programs, as well as the current state of the job market. Our students are prepared for the job market and they have the skills that employers are seeking." Judy Laplante, Student Employment Services
