Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) students from Sudbury's four school boards earned a combination of secondary school credits and the Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship in-school credential through a partnership between the local school boards and Cambrian College.

Cambrian's SkyTech Management Board sponsored the secondary students, and funding for the program came from the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities - Apprenticeship Branch.
