The Federated School of Mines signs an agreement with Brazilian State and University

On May 10, Cambrian President Sylvia Barnard, on behalf of the Federated School of Mines, signed an agreement with the State of Tocantins in Brazil and UNITINS, a university located in that state. The agreement is aimed at fostering a cooperative relationship through

  • curriculum development and delivery of courses and seminars
  • faculty exchange
  • projects aimed at advancing educational and professional development opportunities
  • ventures encouraging closer cultural and commercial relations between Canada and Brazil
  • projects aimed at promoting business and mining ventures between the two countries
