On February 27, 2008, the Wabnode Institute at Cambrian College hosted Angaangaq. A keynote speaker at international conferences and symposia on environmental and indigenous issues, Angaangaq, or Uncle as he is frequently called, spoke to Cambrian staff and students, along with students from Lasalle Secondary school, about the environment and culture. He also toured Cambrian and learned about the different services and facilities the College offers.
