Government Loan Programs 

Government Loan Programs are available to you if you demonstrate financial need. If you will plan on attending or will be attending Cambrian College and need information on applying for government student loans, please follow the links below to find a loan program that best suits your needs.

For your convenience, below you will also find links to forms that will help you to obtain and/or maintain your financial assistance. Complete the form(s) required and submit them to Cambrian College's Financial Aid office in room 2408.

International Financial ASSITANCE
If you are an international student studying on a student visa, you are not eligible for government student loans or bank loans in Canada. For more international assistance, visit the College Costs.
 

Financial Assistance for students from other Canadian Provinces and Territories

Canada portion of a Student Loan
To be eligible for the Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loan and/or grant funding, you must be a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident, or a Protected Person under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada).

Ontario portion of a Student Loan
To meet the OSAP residency criteria, you must have resided in Ontario for 12 consecutive months before attending a postsecondary institution. If not, you must apply for financial assistance in the province in which you resided during the 12 consecutive months before beginning your studies.
