FAQ - Co-op Apprenticeship Programs

Cambrian College, through the Skills Technology Institute (SkyTech) offers students the opportunity to participate in the Co-op Diploma Apprenticeship program. Through this program, students will: 

  • Be a registered apprentice in a trade.
  • Complete all or part of the in-school portion of their apprenticeship.
  • Have the opportunity to participate in two paid co-op placements (subject to qualification).
  • Earn a certificate or diploma.
  • Be well on their way to becoming a journey person in their trade.

As a graduate of the Co-op Diploma Apprenticeship program, your son or daughter will have substantial knowledge and hands-on experience in an industrial setting. This combined experience and knowledge is a winning combination...a combination that will benefit graduates as they move out into the workforce after graduation.
