Government Grants 

Applying online to the OSAP process allows one to not only be considered for the Canada-Ontario Integrated Student loan funding but it also provides you the opportunity to be considered for a variety of non repayable grants, bursaries and scholarships. Your online web application  may make you eligible for:

There are well over a dozen grants and bursaries that are funded by both the Ontario and the government of Canada. All government designed and supported grants and bursaries are available by applying through the OSAP website.

Ontario Access Grants

The Government of Ontario and the Canadian Millennium Scholarship Foundation, offers grants to assist second-year students from low- to middle-income families with tuition costs.

  • Canada Student Grant for Persons from Low- Income Families
  • Canada Student Grant for Persons from Middle –Income Families
  • Canada Student Grant for Persons with Permanent Disabilities
  • Canada Student Grant for Person with Dependents
  • The Ontario Access Grant
  • The Ontario Access Grant for Crown Wards
  • The Ontario Distance Grant
  • The Ontario Student Opportunity Grant ( Loan Forgiveness)
  • Transition Grant for former 2008-2009 Canada Millennium Bursary Recipients (only)
  • The Ontario Tuition Grant

Application deadline is mid-June of each year. Please apply as early as possible and provide all supporting documentation where requested.
