Our People

Present Coordinators

Amy White Amy White:
My name is Amy White and I am currently in my second year of the Early Childhood Education Program here at Cambrian College. Before coming to Cambrian, I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I feel that Let’s Talk Science is an excellent program in its endeavor to promote science to youth in order to spark their interest at an early age. I think Let’s Talk Science has and will continue to give me valuable teaching experience by delivering the hands on activities within elementary classrooms. I am looking forward to continuing to coordinate the Partnership Program here at Cambrian and hope this year will prove as successful as the last in our outreach to promote science among youth.

Raymond BlakeRaymond Blake:
My name is Raymond Blake and I am in my third and final year of Physical Fitness and Leisure Management. The Let’s Talk Science program is important to me because I believe that it is important for young people to be exposed to science and learning in fresh, new ways. Let’s Talk Science provides the opportunity for volunteers to share their excitement and enthusiasm for what they have learned, giving youth excellent exposure to real people studying in the field of science. I believe that if a child has fun in the classroom, this will spark a life-long passion for learning. If all I accomplish as a coordinator is to get one child to associate learning with fun and excitement, then I will consider it all worthwhile.

Past Coordinators

Natalie Coutu Natalie Coutu:
Hi, my name is Natalie Coutu. I am currently in my graduating year of the Physical Fitness and Leisure Management program at Cambrian College. I joined the Let’s Talk Science Partnership Program because science has always been of great interest to me. I also thought that this would be a great opportunity for me to gain valuable teaching experience. Let’s Talk Science is an excellent program and I am proud to be one of the first coordinators from Cambrian College.
