Research at Cambrian - Creating the Future

Whart is Applied Research?

Applied research is designed to solve practical problems of our environment. In a general sense, the goal of the applied research is to improve the socio-economic, environmental, and human condition.

For example, applied researchers may investigate ways to:

  • improve processes, systems, practices.
  • develop new tools, mechanisms, and meaningful approaches.
  • develop innovative and sustainable technologies that improve efficiencies and quality of all life in our environment.
  • provide practical solutions to critical issues and concrete problems.
