Heading Grouping
Each of our pages is properly coded using headers in the content of the pages. Browsers or readers with "headings-reading mode" enabled should be able to navigate through each header-seperated section.
Keyboard Navigation
Our left navigation, the Ultimate Dropdown Menu 4 system, is fully accessible. This includes the ability to provide the user with keyboard shortcuts and navigation to explore the left navigation menu. Any users of the Mozilla browser, Windows Internet Explorer 5+, Opera 7+, Safari 1.2+ or Konqueror 3.2+ will be able to access this ability. Like the menu itself, this module requires javascript to be activated in the users browser.
You can change your hotkey preferences using this form.
Text Size
Our site provides a simple way to modify text size to a users preference. In the footer of each page, there are individual links to scale the text up or down. To use this function, javascript must be enabled in the users browser.
If you are not using javascript, you can alter text size using these methods:
- Internet Explorer - use the View > Text Size
- Firefox/Mozilla browsers - use the View > Increase Text Size
- Macintosh, Internet Explorer & Netscape 6/7 - use the View > Text Zoom
- Safari - use the View > Make Text Bigger
- Opera - use the Zoom selector.
Highlighting Links
To help users with visual impairments, our site provides the ability to highlight each link with a background color. To activate the background color, click the link once. Click it again to deactivate the background color. This functionality also requires javascript to be enabled.
